Improving the Lives of Underprivileged Children in India through Nutrition

As we know way too well at Happy Bar, NUTRITION plays a vital role in the growth and development of children. However, for many underprivileged children, access to nutritious food is a luxury they cannot afford. Happy Bar Nutrition is dedicated to addressing this issue by providing Happy Bar Protein Bars to underprivileged children in the EG Pura slums of Bangalore, India.

The EG Pura slums are perhaps Bangalore’s largest. Challenged of poor infrastructure, unchecked development and large scale urban migration results in poverty and it’s associated effects all around.

Happy Bar Nutrition has partnered with Sanman Society, India. Sanman, a rough translation to mean ‘respect’, is a growing network of individuals and professionals in Bangalore who volunteer their services to provide support and help to the existing networks of palliative care organizations and also to assist families and patients for curative, palliative and end-of-life care.

Together, we are working towards improving the lives of these children by providing them with the nutrition they need to grow and develop, while also motivating them to attend school through the use of our protein bars as rewards.

The Happy Bar Protein Energy Bars are specifically formulated to fight protein deficiency, providing them with the essential nutrients they need to thrive. Each bar is made with high-quality ingredients and is packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals to ensure that the children we serve are getting the nourishment they need.

The collaboration between Happy Bar Nutrition and Sanman Society is making a real difference in the lives of these underprivileged children. Not only are they getting the nutrition they need, but they are also motivated to attend school, which can have a positive impact on their overall health and educational opportunities.

We are proud to be making a difference in the lives of these children, and we are

committed to continuing our efforts to address malnutrition in India. We believe that every child deserves access to nutritious food, and we will continue to work towards our mission of improving the lives of underprivileged children through nutrition.

We encourage others to join us in this mission, whether through volunteering, making a donation or spreading awareness about the importance of nutrition for children's growth and development.

Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of children in need.
